Who we are

Hi, I’m Jenny, a UK-based veterinary nurse with an ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing and a lifelong passion for animal welfare.

Although I’m not currently working in clinical practice, cats remain a huge part of my life. I volunteer every week at a local rescue cattery, where I work closely with cats of all ages and personalities. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of meeting many incredible felines, each with their own unique stories and needs. This experience has strengthened my passion for improving feline welfare and helping people better understand their cats.

While I love all animals, cats have always held a special place in my heart. Their behaviour, communication, and complex emotional lives are endlessly fascinating to me, and supporting their health and wellbeing is something I care deeply about.

Wise Whiskers was created to bring together a community of cat lovers who want to learn more about caring for their feline friends. My aim is to share practical, evidence-based information to help owners better understand their cats and provide the best possible care.
